The ATAAC conference will host poster presentations of therapists using assistive technology (AT) in their work and/or working in the field of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
The ATAAC conference is an excellent opportunity to present your organisation and to connect with others in developing AAC methods. You are most welcome to present your work and your organisation!
Poster presentations held on the last year's conference resulted in many contacts and cooperation between different organisations.
Authors need to print their posters on B1 paper (707 x 1000 mm) and bring them in the exhibition area on 13 September at 8 a.m. so it can be set up on time. Presentations will be held:
During that time the authors are kindly asked to be next to their posters to be able to answer the participant’s questions.
Each author is welcome to prepare flyers or other promotional material with the information about their organisation and users. We suggest you to make small A4 copies of your poster which all the interested participants can take with them. We also suggest that you bring your business cards with you.
Posters size is B1 (707 × 1000 mm), portrait orientation. Posters should be made in English.
Topics: work in the AT/AAC field, case studies, and similar topics.
Posters can be prepared in PowerPoint or any other software which enables you to make large size posters. Everybody should make and print their own posters. We do not print posters, but we can advise you if needed. There is a lot of useful content on making posters on the internet. An example of video instructions can be found here.
Do not forget to put the following information: poster title, authors' names, name of the organisation, contact details. If you need help with getting inspiration and creating clearer picture on how to arrange your poster, take a look at other authors' work. Some interesting examples can be found here.
